Discover the rich history and charm of Berat, a UNESCO World Heritage city known for its distinctive stone architecture from the 18th and 19th centuries, reflecting its Ottoman heritage, on this half-day tour.
The tour begins with a visit to Kalaja (the fortress), perched high above the town. A walk leads along its walls, offering sweeping views of the city, the Osumi River, and Mount Tomori. At the highest point stands a small Byzantine church dating back to the 14th century, as well as a unique cistern from the 13th century. One of Kalaja’s most distinctive features is that it remains inhabited, giving the site a unique sense of living history.
Afterward, the tour continues with a relaxed walk along the charming promenade in the Mangalem district.
